Why are our leaders silent?
With every single heritage and conservation body in the State calling for the immediate protection of this irreplaceable site why are our leaders so silent on this issue?
A development application currently before the Land and Environment court could turn this idyllic piece of Sydney's history into a private housing estate for the privileged few ending public access to this beautiful site.
The 'Friends of Currawong' are calling for the immediate compulsory acquisition of this site to be run as a State park so that the people on New South Wales can continue to have public access it has enjoyed for over a century. No more politics. No more bluster. No more spin.
After 40 years of stating our case politely and clearly the people of New South Wales have had enough and are demanding action now.
Which of our State leaders will put their hand up?
